The Wedding Experience
Your wedding photographs should be more than a collection of beautiful images.
They should transport you back to the atmosphere, emotion and feeling of your day — the quiet anticipation before the ceremony, the laughter shared with those you love, the fleeting glances, the tears, the celebrations and all of the beautifully imperfect moments in between.
Our approach is calm, considered and unobtrusive. We take the time to understand your plans, your priorities and what matters most to you, allowing us to create a collection of photographs that feels personal, timeless and entirely yours.
Below you'll find everything you need to know about your booking, our approach and our wedding collections.
Your Booking Journey
We believe the booking process should feel as seamless as the experience itself.
Once you have chosen your collection, we'll gather the details we need to prepare your bespoke contract, including your names, contact details, chosen package, venues and timings.
Your contract and invoice will then be sent to you electronically, allowing you to review and sign everything from the comfort of your own home.
At this point, your wedding date will be placed on a provisional 24-hour hold.
You will then have 24 hours to review and sign your contract and secure your date with the applicable booking fee.
Securing Your Date
Your wedding date is only considered officially booked once we have received both your signed contract and booking fee.
Booking fees are currently payable by bank transfer. We are exploring online payment options for the future, however this is not currently available.
Once your payment has been received, we'll send you a confirmation receipt by email.
Due to the volume of enquiries we receive, provisional holds cannot be extended. If your contract has not been signed and your booking fee has not been received within the 24-hour period, your contract and invoice will automatically expire and your date will be released.
This allows us to be fair to all couples enquiring about their wedding date.
Can You Hold Our Date Without a Booking Fee?
We completely understand that choosing your wedding photographer is an important decision.
However, due to the limited number of weddings we accept each year, we are unable to reserve or hold dates without the required booking fee.
Your date is secured exclusively for you once your signed contract and booking fee have been received.
Where We Travel
Based on the South Staffordshire, North Warwickshire and West Midlands border, we are ideally positioned to photograph weddings throughout the Midlands and beyond.
Our work is not limited to our local area. We are delighted to travel throughout the UK and Europe for our couples and welcome celebrations further afield.
For weddings requiring additional travel, applicable expenses may include mileage, train or air travel and, where necessary, overnight accommodation.
Any additional travel requirements will always be discussed with you in advance, so everything is transparent from the outset.
Preparing for Your Wedding
The most beautiful wedding photography is created when we have a clear understanding of how your day will unfold.
Before your wedding, we'll ask for the details we need to build a considered understanding of your plans — your timings, locations, suppliers, key moments and anything particularly important to you.
This allows us to work seamlessly alongside your day rather than interrupting it.
An Unplugged Ceremony
We gently encourage you to consider an unplugged ceremony, asking your guests to put their phones and cameras away while you exchange your vows.
There is something incredibly special about seeing a room full of people completely present in the moment, rather than viewing your ceremony through a sea of screens.
From a photographic perspective, this also allows us to document your ceremony without phones, tablets or guests unintentionally stepping into the frame.
We work discreetly and efficiently throughout the day, and being able to move freely allows us to capture those fleeting, unscripted moments that cannot be recreated.
We want you to have the photographs you've envisioned — and the freedom to experience your day while we preserve it for you.
A Little Time for the Two of You
Amongst the excitement of your wedding day, we recommend setting aside approximately 15–20 minutes for photographs of just the two of you.
This isn't about disappearing from your guests for a long period of time.
It's an opportunity to step away from the celebrations, take a breath and simply be together for a few quiet moments.
We'll use this time to create a collection of romantic, editorial-style portraits while allowing you the chance to pause and take everything in.
Often, these become some of the most treasured photographs from the entire day.
The Details Matter
Beautiful photography is often influenced by the smallest details.
Where possible, we'll help you consider your surroundings so that your photographs feel as intentional and timeless as possible.
Your Wedding Car
When your wedding car arrives, for example, we may suggest positioning it somewhere that creates a more considered backdrop — ideally in front of the venue rather than amongst a busy car park.
These little choices can transform an image.
Getting Ready
If you'd like us to photograph your preparations, we recommend keeping your getting-ready space as calm and uncluttered as possible.
Suitcases, bags, packaging and everyday belongings can quickly become distracting within photographs. Where possible, we'll photograph in the most beautiful area available or suggest an alternative room if this creates a more elegant setting.
Don't worry — we'll never expect everything to be perfect. We'll simply guide you where we can.
Parking & Travel
If paid parking is required at your venue or any of your wedding locations, please let us know in advance.
Applicable parking costs can be incorporated into your arrangements beforehand or settled on the day by bank transfer or cash.

Your Online Gallery
Your private online gallery is included within every wedding collection.
Once your photographs have been carefully edited, your gallery will be delivered digitally for you to enjoy, share and relive.
During peak wedding season, edited galleries are generally delivered within 8–12 weeks.
During quieter periods, delivery can be as soon as 6–8 weeks.
We believe your photographs deserve time and care, and every image is individually considered during the editing process.
Your Final Payment
Your remaining balance is due four weeks before your wedding day.
We'll ensure you have everything you need ahead of your final payment so that the weeks leading up to your wedding remain as effortless as possible.
Your Planning & Consultation Experience
Your relationship with us doesn't end once your date is secured.
We generally arrange two video consultations throughout your planning journey, with the final consultation taking place approximately two weeks before your wedding.
This gives us time to revisit your plans, timings, locations and priorities and ensure we arrive on your wedding day fully prepared.
We're also available for unlimited messages, questions and enquiries throughout your planning journey.
No question is too small. If something changes, you're unsure about a timeline or simply want to talk something through, we're here.
After Your Wedding
Once your photographs have been delivered and your album has been completed, we want you to feel that your collection is exactly as it should be.
If you later request additional edits, we'll assess each request individually.
Where an edit is technically viable and possible, an additional editing fee will apply. Payment must be received before any additional work is undertaken.
Please note that certain requests may not be technically possible or may fall outside the scope of our editing process. We'll always be completely transparent with you about what can and cannot be achieved.
